Come, sew, learn and make a difference!
Duffel Bags for Foster Youth
Instructor: Marijane Johnson

Join us for a meaningful one-day FREE sewing classes where we'll create durable, quilted duffel bags for teens (ages 14-18) in the foster system - so they have something better than a trash bag when moving between homes

What You'll Learn:
Creating a quilted "sandwich"
cutting and assembling a duffel bag
installing zippers
adding pockets and hardware

Who Can Join:
All skill levels welcome!

What to Bring:
sewing machine
basic sewing tools
fabric (optional) donated materials available

Our Goal:
work together to complete 5 bags per class/day

Make an Impact:
Learn new skills, connect with others, and help provide dignity and comfort to foster youth
