Have you ever tried to work with knits and became frustrated?  
Have you avoided knits because they look difficult to work with?  Do
you think you can’t sew knits without a serger?  Well, Anne St Clair
has over 25 years of teaching experience and she has “seen it all.”  
Anne will dispel the myths of difficult knit fabrics and guide you with
her presentation and demos to a new understanding of sewing with
knits.  Then Anne will share her samples with you of many knit
garments that will give you inspiration to go home and sew with
confidence.  1:00pm-5:00pm, Friday, March 5, 2010.  This
Lecture/Demo/Trunk Show is $30.

Bra Workshop
Have you ever just wanted a bra that fit right and was comfortable
to wear?  Have you spent hundreds of dollars trying to find the right
bra?  Then this workshop is for you!  Anne St Clair has helped
thousands of women sew a bra that fits.  Anne and her staff of
experts will conduct a workshop that will take you step by step to a
finished bra.  You will be custom fit and your custom pattern will be
drafted by Anne the night before the workshop  just for your shape
and specific needs.  Anne will also share a short lecture about
proper fitting and why it is so important for us as women to have
proper support.  If you would like to attend the Lecture only you are
welcome to do that.  The Lecture allows for an unlimited number of
participants while the workshop is limited to 20 so that
Anne can give personal attention.
Bra fitting lecture ($20): 6:30-8:30pm, Friday, March 5, 2010.  
Bra Workshop: 9:00am-6:00pm (lunch is included), Saturday, March
6, 2010.  If the Saturday workshop fills then we will open a second
day on Sunday, March 7.
Bra workshop is $200 for ASG members and $220 for non members
and you will make one bra and receive enough materials to make 2
more bras at home.  
If you sign up for the Bra Workshop then you also need to attend
the lecture which is included in the workshop fee.  Workshop
attendees will be fit on Friday evening before the lecture.

Artfull Bras Contest
This year Anne is challenging us to get creative and come up with
some crazy and artfull bras!  Simply take and old bra or purchase a
cheap one at the store and go to town decorating it.  You can use a
theme or just have fun.  For inspiration check out this website of
Artfull Bras
Anne and her staff will judge and there will be prizes so let’s bring
them on!  
Bring them to the Bra Lecture on Friday at 6:30pm.
